- No free email addresses (e.g. hotmail gmail yahoo etc)
- No profanity. Full stop.
- No personal attacks on any person whatsoever, board-member or not.
- No 'bandwidth theft' (no stealing of other peoples images or linking
directly to their sites images). Always ask for the use of the images then
if permission is given take a copy, host it yourself, and link to the copy.
This ensures the other persons website is not incurring traffic as a result
of the image being requested by this board (without sending users to their
site).
- No Trolling (posting for the sole purpose of 'baiting' other users)
- Having the last word does not mean that you've 'won'. Ignoring baited
posts shows you have intelligence.
- "I heard someone say" or "a friend of mine who knows someone says" does
not make what you heard 'FACT'
- Be prepared to back up what you post with facts. Sooner or later you will
be challenged. No Facts = No Argument
- Be respectful of others opinions, but feel free to challenge them politely
(liking or disliking a certain driver does not make either of you 'right' or
'wrong' - it's an opinion remember)
- Should postings made on this board lead to legal proceedings, your user
details will be handed over to the relevant authorities - if requested.
- Your posts are your responsibility - other boards have shown us that you
cannot 'hide' behind your username. Everything you do leaves a 'trail'. You
are not anonymous no matter what you believe.
